Can students sign from their own phone?
Yes. A QR code at the entrance sends students to a mobile form. They disclose injuries or pregnancy, sign, and the teacher gets a heads-up before class. No shared tablets passed around the lobby.
How do we handle drop-ins who don't have an account?
Drop-ins scan the same QR code. The form takes their name, email, and health disclosures in about 60 seconds. A signed PDF hits your dashboard before they step on the mat.
Do digital waivers hold up if a student sues?
Electronic signatures on a waiver are recognized under the ESIGN Act and state UETA laws when the student consents and the record is retained. WaiverKit stamps each PDF with the IP address, the server timestamp and a SHA-256 integrity hash of the exact text shown, so the record shows what was signed and when; whether the waiver's terms are enforced is decided under your state's law.
