What happens when I hit my waiver limit?

Nothing stops. Every plan includes a monthly volume, Free 30, Starter 500, Pro 5,000, and signings always go through, even past it. We email the owner so they can upgrade when it makes sense. Business has no monthly cap.

Are the digital signatures legally binding?

Electronic signatures are recognized under the ESIGN Act and state UETA laws when the signer consents and the record is retained. WaiverKit captures an evidence record including a server timestamp, IP address, browser and device details, the consent text shown, and a tamper-evident template hash. Whether a waiver's terms are enforced is decided by a court under state law, depending on factors such as wording, activity, and signer age.

Can I switch plans or cancel anytime?

You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your plan at any time from your account settings. When you upgrade, you are billed the prorated difference. When you downgrade, the change takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle.

Your signed waivers stay in your account after you cancel. The account drops back to the Free plan — 30 signings per month and PDF export included — and everything you already collected stays accessible and searchable.

How do you keep my data secure?

Customer data and signed waivers are stored in a PostgreSQL database on servers we operate in Nuremberg, Germany (Hetzner), with encryption in transit and provider-managed encryption at rest. Signature images and generated PDFs are stored on Cloudflare R2. We run our own database backups four times a day, copy them to a separate storage bucket, and rehearse a restore every month. Export your data via the dashboard if you need offline copies.
