Common questions from dance studios

Can we make photo release optional while the waiver is required?

Yes. The photo release is a separate question on the same form. Parents who decline still sign the safety waiver, you just don't include their kid in the recital reel.

What about summer intensives where parents aren't local?

Parents sign from wherever they are. The link goes to any phone, the signature arrives on your dashboard, you don't need anyone in the building to complete the form.

Do dancers re-sign every year or every semester?

Whatever matches your enrolment cycle; most studios pick annual. Seven days before a waiver lapses, the parent gets a reminder email to renew with you, on Starter and up.

Term students and drop-in adults on the same waiver?

Use two templates. The term waiver runs your enrolment year. The drop-in waiver gets a short window, so casual dancers sign each block. Give each group its own waiver template, so the signatures arrive already labelled.

Every re-sign captures the guardian and relationship again, plus each minor listed that season. Siblings get added, families change. The newest record carries the current consent. The older ones stay as they were.
