- Can renters sign from the booking email before they reach the dock?
- Yes. Send the signing link with the booking confirmation or put the QR code at the dock; the signed record is in your list before the walk-through, with the server timestamp, IP and device.
- Can I record who the operator is, separately from the passengers?
- Yes. The form collects the fields you add: an operator experience select, a checkbox per policy and an initials field. Each signing is one record for one signer; passengers who must sign get their own.
- What do I show at return if the fuel level is disputed?
- The PDF of that signing: the fuel-policy acknowledgement as ticked, the initials, the signature image, the server timestamp and the template version. Records stay searchable for as long as your account exists.

Common questions from boat rental shops
Can we require operator experience before renting a jet ski?
Yes. Make the experience question required, so no waiver is submitted without an answer. WaiverKit does not refuse a signature based on the answer: staff reads it on the signed record and points first-time operators to a lesson.
How do we handle multi-operator rentals where two people will drive?
Each operator signs their own waiver, so when the second person takes the helm, their own signed waiver is already on file.
Our marina Wi-Fi drops at the dock. Does sign-in still work?
Operators sign on their own phones over their own cell data, so the marina router is not in the path. Send the QR with the booking and most renters arrive cleared. Keep the dock kiosk where you have a usable signal, for walk-ups.
